Our Software does not require an Internet connection to cut patterns. However, you must still connect to the Internet to perform Registration and get Patterns Database updates.

The Patterns Database is stored locally on your PC, and you can cut unlimited patterns within your STANDARD subscription, even if you are offline. However, you need the Internet to get up-to-date patterns with the latest fixes and add-ons through timely updates.

We recommend updating the Patterns Database at least once a week. Our design team constantly changes and adds new patterns.

The Software will notify you when it is time to update. First, it will warn you when you start the Software.

When opening a pattern from the database, you will also see a blinking button “CHECK FOR UPDATES“.

During the update, the Software pulls all the changes made to the patterns from the Server. There are two types of updates - the “Get Full Package” and the “Get Latest Changes” update.

In most cases, getting just the latest changes should be sufficient to keep your database current.

The “Get Full Package” update may be helpful to ensure everything is in place after not doing updates for an extended period.

The software will enforce the “Get Full Package” update after 90 days.

You can continue cutting during the Patterns Database Update.

After completing the update, you will notice that the Last Update has been changed to today and has become green.
