Price Tag Builder is a valuable tool for car dealerships that offer additional services such as window tinting and paint protection film (PPF) installation. By placing detailed price tags on vehicles, dealerships can present optional services clearly, allowing customers to see the costs associated with tinting or PPF upfront. This transparency helps streamline decision-making and provides convenience by enabling customers to pick up their newly purchased vehicle with all enhancements already completed.
The Software provides an easy-to-use Price Tag Builder feature that allows users to create, save, and load price tags with service pricing and vehicle details. These price tags can be printed and placed on vehicles to communicate additional costs effectively.
Launch Film Designs 4 and access the Database Access Tool by clicking on the "Open pattern from the database" button.
Select the vehicle’s make and model for which you want to create a price tag.
Navigate to the Tools menu and select "Price Tag" to open the Price Tag Builder window.
The Price Tag Builder window will appear:
In the General tab, enter the necessary details about your company and the vehicle.
Check the "Include vehicle details" box to display vehicle details on the Price Tag.

Do not include a currency symbol in the Price field; it will be added automatically.

Switch to the Items tab to verify the details of the selected service and pricing. The price for the selected vehicle model will be automatically displayed from the database.
You can manually enter additional items into the list by inputting the required details, such as labor costs (e.g., "Labor - 50").
